I grew up on a 500 acre farm playing 4-H softball and going to FFA judging contests in Springfield Minnesota. As a young man, I dreamed of a small herd of cattle grazing on a rolling pasture. It was a picturesque scene with a creek and trees and calves playing on the hillsides.

Fast forward to today; County Road Cattle has brought reality to those dreams. This joint venture with a few other dreamers has been super fun as we work together to develop a high-caliber herd. Presently I am a loan officer for AgStar in Freeborn County Minnesota. I really enjoy the cattle, but the mentoring of young men and women and the lasting relationships that have been built over the years are equally important and very rewarding. Part of the fruit of these relationships has resulted in our forming County Road Cattle.

I am the oldest of the three Stadheim children. Along with my two brothers, Bennett and Garrett, I was born with a love for the farm. When I was a young girl I started living out my passion for farm animals by raising laying hens and selling their eggs to my neighbors and relatives. When I was in high school I was given an opportunity to get involved with cattle through Marty Little, who was already working with my brother. My freshman year of high school I began to show cattle through 4-H.

I graduated from Dordt College in Sioux Center, IA with an agribusiness major. Drew and I got married in 2016. Our little boy Soren just turned one and loves everything about the farm! I enjoy gardening, quilting, boating and snowmobiling in the winter. At any given time you can find me spending time outside capturing God’s beautiful creation through the lens of my camera.

I have been in love with agriculture ever since I was a young boy. My love began when I was old enough to ride along with my dad in the tractor. As I grew up I began to drive the tractors, pick rocks, lay tile and harvest the grain. My love and passion for agriculture was broadened to include livestock when I was given an opportunity to show cattle.  In 2009, my sister Meghan and I decided to lease calves from Marty along with Garrett, my younger brother. We built our cattle herd through a working relationship with Marty Little.  He coached my siblings and I  along and helped us in raising a herd of our own. In 2013 we joined herds with Marty and are now fulfilling our dreams of owning a herd of elite cows and raising high quality calves to show and sell.

I graduated from Dordt College with an agribusiness major. I am working on the family farm alongside my dad and brother, growing corn and soybeans and working cattle for County Road Cattle.

I had opportunity to become a "real" cowboy when I was in nine years old and Marty Little was looking for fresh "stock" that would enjoy the lessons and labors of working with cattle.  That summer I wore my new cowboy boots and hat with pride, quickly learned the meaning of chores, have memories of first time judges and show rings, received prize ribbons for my labors and convinced my sister and brother to be partake in all that excitement the following year.  Little did we know then that cattle would play such a big part in molding who we were and who we would become.

When I was 13, I purchased my first round baler providing hay for our own cattle and soon after was hired by others for custom bailing services.  I named my business, "G's Bailing" and its proven to be a great job for a kid that enjoys spending time in the tractor.

If you come looking for me you'll more than likely find me working on or fixing something in the shop, taking care of cattle in the barn or in the tractor making hay, but you'll most definitely find me wearing my cowboy boots and hat with pride.
