We couldn't have asked for better weather, or better speakers! Temps were in the low 80s and a gentle breeze was blowing. Fun was had by the many participants in the 2015 Rotational Grazing Field Day at the Richard Stadheim farm.
Richard Stadheim is committed to rotational grazing in Southern Minnesota, and he's happy anytime he gets to talk about it! County Road Cattle is glad he's so committed to the long term health of pasture land. As our speakers said, it takes time and commitment to grow a good pasture. Richard is just beginning the process of leaving a legacy of rich and healthy pasture land for the next generation. 80 acres is just the start!
Greg Wood was our keynote speaker. His passion and personal success story of building a profitable, multi-generational rotational grazing cattle operation in Iowa was impressive. We all learned from this honored cattleman.
John Zinn is the Minnesota State Grazing Specialist for the NRCS, and he is as passionate about pasture and grass as anyone we've ever seen. John was one of several speakers we had for this educational and fun event. All of our speakers did such an excellent job. We give them all a huge "hats off" and thank you!
This event could not have happened without the help of so many volunteers & sponsors. Thank you everyone! ~The Stadheim Family & County Road Cattle
